Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas. She began a career in physical therapy. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and quickly moved to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of roles as an actor including independent local films and commercials. Despite her small roles, she soon discovered her love in acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she scored her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of the decade, she appeared in small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first major series role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. She then migrated to the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. A short moment later De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was with NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is born of Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was very strict and spiritual one. Milano began her profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter accompanied her on an audition for acting. Four girls were selected out of more than 1000 hopefuls. Milano was featured on television in commercials as well as off Broadway productions like the musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
