Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is a country and pop music artist. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe known as Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley as well as Miranda Lambert in 2007, followed by her release of her 2nd album, named Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in 2015. She released The Blade, an album which brought her great fame. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for over fifteen years and has spent the majority of that time as a deputy city manager for Iowa City. The current Assistant Village Manager's responsibilities include the management of Community Development and Building Department, coordinating grants and completion of specific projects. The role of Ashley in Riverside is to aid in the daily operations of village services and implement the strategic vision set forth by elected officials. Ashley's duties include municipal planning budgeting management of personnel and collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on climate initiatives. Through her involvement in national organizations and work in communities that have populations of varying sizes, Ashley has gained an understanding of the complexity of differences and similarities with the way public institutions work. Ashley's course focuses on contemporary methods of the management of public affairs and leaders from the perspective of an experienced practitioner.
